Currently I am working toward my bachelor's degree in the field of Microbiology at the University of South Florida, where I am also double minoring in Chemistry as well as Biomedical Physics. I then intend to go on to earn my master's in Biomedical Engineering. As an undergrad, I got some crucial experience working as a research assistant in a government-funded laboratory that analyzed the local water quality. The two major subjects I find myself most passionate about are Chemistry and Biology. I find it to be an exhilarating challenge taking complex ideas that a student may not understand and boiling them down to their basics. I think this is key in getting a student on the right track so he or she can then move forward and build on those simple blocks of knowledge. I am comfortable tutoring pretty much any specific subject related to those fields. When not in the classroom I love to stay active by hiking, kayaking, or doing anything I can where I get to experience the terrific scenes of nature Florida provides.
