I earned my English degree from the University of South Florida, and I love literature, writing, and reading. Words fascinate me, from their origins to their histories to their meanings. I believe writing and reading are the foundation of all education, and they are necessary for success in any profession. Everyone continues to build the skills as readers and writers throughout their lives, but those who gain an edge have the chance for realizing their full potential. I taught reading and English at the secondary level, and I'm excited to help students using the one-on-one approach of tutoring to help them excel in their studies. My other interests outside of English include getting out in nature, baking, eating good food, and dogs.
